Spicy chicken broth

A flavorful, satisfying broth-based soup or snack Why eat bouillon? This is so easy and tastes so incredibly good. The mushroom gives a meaty richness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup no fat low sodium organic chicken broth
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 drops of Tapatio or Cholula type hot sauce
  • 1/2 t. minced garlic, can be from a tube
  • 1/2 t. tomato paste
  • 1 baby bella mushroom chopped
  • 1 t. green onion chopped
  • squeeze 1/4 of lemon
  • approx. 1 minute in the microwave. I guess you can tell I stood at the open fridge door and put in what sounded good. :grin: total of 30-40 calories

Method

Put all ingredients in a coffee cup and stir. Microwave for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Enjoy!
